Knife Edge Gate Valve

Shiv Valves Industries Knife Gate Valve has a large port which provides a low-pressure drop across the valve and is better suitable to handle slurries, powder & other Fluid/Solid mixtures then average to other type valves such as Butterfly or Ball Valve.

Knife Gate Valve is hopper isolation valves with their ability to cut through flowing powders and close by displaying any material in the seating area. This Valve is named ‘Knife’ because of the beveled bottom edge of the gate. It Allows closure of the gate even when a solid particle settles on the bottom of the body.
